AFRIFINANCE has been retained by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to organize the Third Africa Asia Business Forum - AABF III (www.aabf.org).

Previous Assignments

AFRIFINANCE has collaborated with the Private Sector Foundation and the Fonds de Promotion Economique (FPE) in strengthening their pivotal role in supporting the accelerated growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in Senegal and in enhancing their capacity to develop and sustain foreign business linkage activities.

AFRIFINANCE recently assisted the Republic of Congo to set up a Debt Recovery Entity on the model of the Societe Nationale de Recouvrement in Senegal and arranged for eight members of staff from the Congolese company to be trained at the Senegalese institution.

In collaboration with HSBC Equator Bank, AFRIFINANCE has worked to resolve many financing issues related to the transactions of that Bank on the African Continent.

AFRIFINANCE has already worked on three UNDP assignments, including preparing a review in 1994 of the activities and investments of the African Management Services Company (AMSCO) in 14 African countries. Additionally, the Director of AFRIFINANCE was an invited speaker in a Conference on African Capital Markets jointly co-sponsored by the Center for International Studies in Washington D.C. and by the UNDP in 1998.

AFRIFINANCE has won and executed major consulting contracts with the World Bank, the Privatization Cell in Senegal, and two African Governments.
